ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR CAMP -

An Innovative Writing Program for Newbies, Scaredy Cats and Wannabes, Facilitated in a Fun, Light-Hearted Environment.

HOW COOL WOULD IT BE TO SAY, “I WROTE A BOOK AT THE AGE OF…”

 Everybody has a story in them. The only difference between you and a published author is they’ve already written a book.

Calling kids of all ages, 5-105 years of age, wanting to capture their creativity on paper. This is your opportunity to brainstorm, write, illustrate, design and publish a book using a variety of wild and wonderful creative tools and techniques.

Your lasting legacy, hardcover bound, is an ideal keepsake or gift idea for family or friends for years to come – you may even read it to your own kids/grandkids one day.

Cost: $195 (includes all art supplies, and publishing of the hardcover book). Space is limited. A $50 deposit is required to secure a spot.
 

You will:

• build self-esteem through a profound sense of accomplishment.
• feed your starving ‘non-artist’.
• awaken your creative spirit using a variety of mediums (paint, pencil crayons, pastels, charcoal, collage, and more).

The ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR CAMP is lead by the dynamic duo, Lesley Kelz and Lois Lenarduzzi, who will guide and inspire you on this exciting literary journey.

Lesley has spent over 10 years in children’s publishing as a designer, artist, writer and book lover. She recently launched, ‘Squidpress’ a small publisher with big plans to turn talented Canadian kids into best-selling authors. Lesley lives in Brooklin, Ontario with her creative family.

Lois’s passion in her search for creative ways toward spontaneous self-expression (using painting, writing, sculpting, drawing, meditation, movement and music) clearly manifests itself in her gold and gutsy multi-media paintings, creative writing and workshops she creates and facilitates throughout the GTA. Lois lives in Brooklin, Ontario with her husband, John.
